Raymond "Big Daddy" Jones
Raymond Jones (born February 1, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan) was the leader of the Hoodlums gang and ran the gang during it's most troubling and most profitable time.

Early Life
Raymond's family moved from state to state and finally settled in Cozy Valley apartments when he was 6. He spent many days skipping school and running with his friends. He would take this time to join the Hands gang. They're leader Aaren “Spit Ball” Mcgee took a liking to Raymond and put him under his wing. Raymond would command a small part of Hands gang in his apartment area on the behave of Aaren. Raymond and his area gang made money in petty crimes. Raymond would rock himself when he took over the drug trade in his apartment complex and a part of 17th street drug trafficking.
The Hoodlums Are Formed
In 1983 Mcgee was serving time for murder and under Mcgee's blessing and the vote of his peers Raymond rose as the new leader of the Hands gang. For two years as the leader Raymond pushed on with criminal acts as well as the ongoing fighting against their rivals. On one incident a member of the Hands gang that looked like Raymond was shot to death by a rival while walking on the street. Many people would be victims of this war. The leader of there main rivalry which was Emanuel “Big Cesar” Lopez, leader of the Lopez Brother's proposed a cease fire among them. Raymond spent two weeks meeting with leaders align under the Hands gang affiliation before accepting. Raymond gained 40 percent of the cease fire deal. He would change the name of the gang to a banner affiliation that would go by Hoodlums. During the years to follow he spent time growing his membership and connections. He worked in taking over small and large gangs that occupy the space. Eventually the space became known as the Hoodlums with gangs joining force to make up the branches of the Hoodlums. Many gangs dropped there name and just adopted the street they originated on years later.
Jail
At the height of the Hoodlums formation in mass of areas of the city. They're rival the Lopez Brother's change there name to Glen Road and began attacking allies of the Hoodlums. This broke there cease fire and caused a war. The city not seeing no other way began cracking down on members of each and every gang until looking up the leaders. They caught Raymond on wiretaps admitting murders and conspiracy to expand extortion operations throughout the city. He was given 70 years. He went back two years and got his sentence reduce to 26 years. He will be out in 2011.
